Well, he made sweet sweet love to that thing on stage and we all fell in love with his band immediately. He was way better than any of us at guitar and way younger than most of us in our band. We became friends quickly after that show and did a tour with The Vision the following summer, which was 8 days of pure debauchery and some shows too. On that tour, while driving, he played us some of his solo songs that he had been working on. The songs that would become Jamuel Saxon. The songs definitely surprised me since they sounded more like an R. Kelly side project, than something I expected from Keith. I loved them though! Since that tour, he has played lots of shows as Jamuel Saxon, and has collaborated with some of the best musicians around. He is super prolific at what he does and constantly has new tunes coming out.
He called me earlier this week to shoot some pictures of him and his drummer Jason. I was happy to do it. The guys came over, we drank some whiskey and beer and shot some photos. It was super fun. Oh yeah, and he played me some new songs, ("Planetarium" is gonna be a hit!!) Here are some of the Pics:
